  • THE BEST WAY TO SEE NZ  IS  BY CAMPER !

  • Do I need a special drivers licence to drive a Camper in New Zealand? No, our Campers can be driven with a standard full car licence. Each person who wishes to drive would need to bring his or her own valid and original drivers licence. If your licence is not in English, we would need to see a valid international drivers licence.
  • Where can I empty the toilet and grey water? Dump stations are located in campgrounds and various tourist sites around New Zealand. We provide a list of where these are.

  • I have Travel Insurance, which covers damage to the vehicle Do I need to pay the See NZ Campers vehicle insurance as well? Yes, the basic insurance is compulsory and is included in the rate. In the unfortunate event that you have an accident in New Zealand, you would still be required to pay us directly for the damage, but on receipt of payment and our invoice you may be able to claim from your own travel insurance policy. You travel insurance policy is between you and your travel insurer and under no circumstances does See NZ Campers claim from them.
  • What does the insurance cover? Our compulsory insurance covers you for public liability damage, 3rd party damage , windscreens , flat tyres ,and public liability cover provided you don't break the rules of the rental agreement . It does not cover you for any personal loss or injury. We suggest taking your own  travel insurance reccomended  thru this website at a discounted rate.
  • Should  I pay Bond waiver Insurance ?  NO  definitely not as it  is the very expensive way to cover insurance on your camper  , you are much better off to arrange travel insurance  through the recomended company  on this website  who will cover  vehicle security deposit and it will save you  LOTS  $$$$$  .  A vehicle security deposit  is payable on all hires and  when vehicle is returned in same condition  this is then  cancelled . Should you have a claim you then claim directly of the travel insurance company .
